The Miami Dolphins grabbed one of the best defensive backs in this draft class during the 2018 NFL Draft, selecting Alabama’s Minkah Fitzpatrick. That was a nice addition to a defense that is going to have a brand new look in 2018. On the offensive side of the ball, quarterback Ryan Tannehill should be recovered from his latest knee injury, but time will tell how long he is considered the man in Miami.

If the Dolphins struggle with Tannehill next season, they are going to be in the market for a new quarterback. One player they should seriously consider is Drew Lock from Missouri, who I feel is the best quarterback in this draft class. Lock has the size and intangibles needed to be a star at the next level, and he will likely not fall out of the top-5 next April.

Miami has been a playoff team, or contender the last two years, but that might change in 2018. They have said goodbye to some big-time players in Jarvis Landry and Ndamukong Suh, and as much as it is an easy thing to say, they will have a hard time replacing their production. The Dolphins have some solid talent on this roster, but the 2018 season may be a long one on South Beach.
