Defensive Tackle. Clemson. Dexter Lawrence. 4. player. 56.

The Cincinnati Bengals will have a lot to think about next draft season, as their head coach, Marvin Lewis will likely be shown the door if the team plays poorly. In addition, Andy Dalton’s run at quarterback may come to an end, but we are going to guess he plays well enough to keep the job. On the defensive side of the ball, this Bengals team needs help up front, and they should draft the best defensive tackle in this draft class early.

That man is Dexter Lawrence, who heads a Clemson defensive line that is going to be very fun to watch next season. He can do it all from his defensive tackle position, and is an elite athlete for a man his size. The Bengals have to do a better job at controlling the line of scrimmage going forward, and Lawrence would instantly make them better at doing just that in 2019.

Cincinnati could certainly end up picking a quarterback here, as there are some first-round talents in this draft class. Lawrence is a guy who may be too good to pass up, as he would have likely been a first round pick last year. The Bengals are going to have it rough for the next year or so, but it should net them some incredible players via the NFL Draft.
