Detroit Red Wings: Henrik Zetterberg

The second of two Henrik’s on the list is the longtime Red Wings great and captain, Henrik Zetterberg. Like Lundqvist, Zetterberg joins the list of bearded NHLers who could be part-time models. His perfectly groomed chin parka compliments his Swedish good looks so much so that he decides to sport the look year-round.

Zetterberg and his fabulous beard hold a near point-per game average over his 15-year career with the Detroit Red Wings. He is a 2008 Stanley Cup champion, in which he collected the Conn Smythe Trophy as the most valuable player in the NHL playoffs and is happily married to Swedish model and TV personality, the gorgeous Emma Andersson. Not a bad run.

Zetterberg and Andersson have a son named Love. Which is adorable, until you hear that it is pronounced “Lov-ey.” The reason this name sounds familiar is because you are now thinking of former Chicago Bears coach Lovie Smith, who is not cute.

Zetterberg has stated that he plans on retiring after the 2018-19 season. He will surely go down as an all-time Red Wings great. His beard will go down as an all-time NHL great as well.
