High Salary PG
Kyle Lowry ($7,700): Lowry was over 40 fantasy points in five of the six first round games. He had 42.5 fantasy points on Mar. 21 against the Cavaliers, but only 16.75 fantasy points in the Apr. 3 meeting. The Raptors are at home and I’m higher on them than the Cavaliers, despite the LeBron factor. ****
Rajon Rondo ($7,300): Rondo had 38.5 fantasy points in Game 1. He contributes in all three offensive categories and chips in with defense as well. The return of Steph Curry could make life easier for Rondo on the offensive end. He’ll never be a big scorer, but he’ll always contribute and likely end up over value once again. ***
High Value PG
Fred VanVleet ($3,700): VanVleet played 19 minutes in the Game 6 victory over the Wizards, finishing with 16 fantasy points. With a couple more days of rest, he should be back to his usual workload off the bench. He played well in all three games against the Cavaliers this season and can be a matchup problem given Cleveland’s bench. Look for him to have a big contributing game. ****
Shaun Livingston ($3,100): With Steph Curry likely returning in Game 2, Quinn Cook will see the minutes reduction, not Livingston. He saw more minutes than Cook in the first round and has the trust of Steve Kerr coming off the bench. He’ll get minutes and shots, which counts for something. *
