Grandma Pavelski’s Twitter account is the purest thing on the Internet
San Jose Shark Joe Pavelski’s national treasure of a grandmother has a Twitter account, and frankly, we don’t deserve her and her kindness.
We all know Joe Pavelski as the goal-scoring captain of the San Jose Sharks, trying to lead his Sharks to their first Stanley Cup.
But did you know his grandmother, Mary Ann Pavelski, is quite possibly one the greatest, most pure person on the planet? Now, allow Grandma Pavelski to show you how to use Twitter the right way.
I mean, just look at her — everything about her screams kindness.
Before most big Sharks game, Grandma Pavelski tweets a positive message in support of her grandson and his Sharks, and for tonight’s game, Mrs. Pavelski kept it sweet and simple.
So why did she join Twitter in the first place? In May of 2016, Mrs. Pavelski made an account to promote Joe Pavelski’s campaign to get on the cover of NHL 17. Does that not just bring a smile to your face? She’s one of a kind.
Grandma Pavelski’s bio reads, “Mother of 8, Grandmother of 18. Great Grandmother of 8, and hockey fan.” While she obviously doesn’t play any favorites and surely she loves all her grandchildren equally, the deck might be a little stacked in Joe’s favor.
Even when she’s not tweeting about her Sharks, Mrs. Pavelski is just the sweetest person. She tweets “Happy Birthday” wishes to everybody in her family, and tweets all of the family’s, not just Joe’s, accomplishments.
The San Jose Sharks play the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 4 of their best of seven series on Wednesday night. San Jose trails in the series 2-1 and looked to even it up before heading back to Vegas. If for nothing else, they needed to win to make Grandma Pavelski happy, because that is all that matters in this series now.

If you’ve got no horse in the race in the playoffs right now, you better be cheering for San Jose to win the Stanley Cup so that we can all see the great Grandma Pavelski happy. All other storylines no longer matter; getting Grandma Pavelski a chance to lift the Cup is priority No. 1.
