The San Jose Sharks take on the Golden Knights in Game 4 of their second round NHL Playoffs series. Here’s a prediction for Game 4.

It has been a fun and intense series between the Vegas Golden Knights and San Jose Sharks so far. The Golden Knights have a 2-1 series lead after a 4-3 overtime victory on Monday. The Sharks hope to even out the series on Wednesday.

To do that, the Sharks will try limit the Golden Knights’ opportunities and prevent them from creating any momentum. Controlling the pace of the game will be important for both teams. Game 3 was a fight to the end. Expect Game 4 to be a similar type of atmosphere as in the Shark Tank.

During the regular season, both teams were two of the least penalized teams in the NHL. But that has changed in this series; there have been quite a few penalties on both sides — likely due to the intensity of playing in a playoff game. The difference in this game could be whoever takes advantage of the other team’s miscues.

William Karlsson, who scored the overtime goal on Monday night, is a challenge for the Sharks. He had 43 goals in the regular season and has done well so far in this series. The Golden Knights offense overall could prove to be a challenge. The Sharks have a good offense when everyone is healthy. Getting Evander Kane back in Game 3 certainly makes their lineup more deadly.

This series has been back-and-forth, but in the end, the Golden Knights may prove to be too tough for the Sharks. Expect Game 4 to be high-scoring and to come down to the wire — what you normally see when these two teams meet.
