High Salary PG

Kyle Lowry ($7,800): Lowry continued his strong play in Game 1, posting 39.75 fantasy points. He didn’t rebound particularly well, but he dished 10 assists and contributed with scoring. The Raptors my have lost, but their offense looked in regular season form, which is a good sign for the value of their stars moving forward. ****

Ben Simmons ($9,400): Simmons struggled in Game 1, much like he’s struggled against Boston all season. The Celtics know how to make him uncomfortable and it showed in Game 1. It didn’t help the everyone he passed to missed shots. The lower salary helps, but proceed with caution. ***

High Value PG

Fred VanVleet ($3,900): VanVleet had 16.25 fantasy points in Game 1. His salary has gone up, but I expect his production to be up in Game 2. He’s still a matchup advantage for Toronto and they would be wise to relinquish the second unit offense back to him over Delon Wright. Expect that to happen. ***

Marcus Smart ($5,700): Smart drew the start for Jaylen Brown in Game 1 and finished with 28.75 fantasy points. He’s been strong in all three home games and as a starter, he gets more opportunities to contribute. Expect another solid outing in Game 2. ***
