The Washington Capitals lead the series against the Pittsburgh Penguins 2-1 going into Game 4. After a 4-3 victory in Game 3 on Tuesday, the Penguins hope to even the series on Thursday.
It’s the third straight year that these teams have faced each other in the postseason. So far, it has not been disappointing, and Game 4 looks to continue the excitement. It’s safe to say that these two teams are very familiar with each other. The Capitals are playing with a chip on their shoulders considering the Penguins have eliminated them the last two seasons. Look for an intense game between these two teams given what’s on the line.
The Penguins will need to do everything in their power to defend against Alex Ovechkin, who scored a late goal in Game 3 to help the Capitals secure the win. It happened to be his eighth goal and 13th point in the playoffs. Ovechkin is the player to watch in Game 4.

This will be a fun game to watch. Both teams are going to have to take advantage of any miscues in this game. The Capitals have the momentum at the moment, and they may have the advantage at this point in the series.
