With three games remaining in the Serie A season, the race for the final Europa League spot is up for grabs. AC Milan are seventh, one point behind Atalanta. On Saturday, Milan host Verona at the San Siro. Verona are second from the bottom and in the middle of a relegation battle.

AC Milan ended their five-game winless streak last weekend, defeating Bologna 2-1. For Milan to qualify for Europa League, they cannot afford another slip up against Verona. Earlier this season, the Red and Blacks lost 3-0 to Verona. Gennaro Gattuso’s side will have to defend better if they are going to pick up all three points on Saturday. While Milan do not have a dominant scoring presence in their lineup and are middle of the table with 46 goals. They do have six players with at least four goals, giving them multiple attacking options.

Verona will likely have to win their three remaining games if they have any hopes of remaining up. The Yellow and Blues are seven points behind Spal for the final survival spot. Verona will need to upset Milan again this season. Moise Kean scored in the first meeting between the two clubs and leads the club in scoring this season. However, the 18-year-old striker is unlikely to play with an injury. The Yellow and Blacks will likely start Bruno Petkovic in place of Kean. However, the Croatian striker has failed to score in 23 games this season.
