Twins at White Sox

Twins Probable Starter – Lance Lynn, RHP

8.37 ERA, 2.11 WHIP and 9.89 K/9

Vs LHH – .353 average, .491 wOBA and 39.3 hard contact rate

Vs RHH – .250 average, .353 wOBA and 42.5 hard contact rate

Lynn has been a massive disappointment for the Twins so far and things might not get any easier for him tonight. Yoan Moncada appears to need to rest his injured hamstring, which is a real shame. He would have been one of the best plays on the slate tonight if he was healthy. Since he’s not, there’s a more limited player pool that I’m interested in tonight. Nicky Delmonico and Daniel Palka are both really good options if the splits keep up for Lynn. Jose Abreu is a totally fine play as well even though he’s just a hair expensive. Abreu might be a righty but Lynn isn’t exactly shutting them down either. Until he proves that he’s got things figured out, hitters are a worthwhile target against him.

White Sox Hitters to Target

Elite Options – Nicky Delmonico for the price, Daniel Palka, Jose Abreu

Secondary Options – Wellington Castillo, if active

White Sox Probable Starter – Hector Santiago, LHP

3.48 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 8.71 K/9

Vs LHH – .244 average, .336 wOBA and 29.4 hard contact rate

Vs RHH – .236 average, .328 wOBA and 31.4 hard contact rate

The crafty lefty for the White Sox is still kicking around and he’s actually not been dreadful this season. I wouldn’t shy away from a hitter like Logan Morrison, even in a lefty on lefty matchup. Santiago doesn’t see any major splits so we can target with who we want and Morrison is hot. FanDuel dropped the ball on the price for Brian Dozier on Friday night and didn’t correct that error this evening. At just $3,300, Dozier is going to be a must play. He was over 50 percent owned in cash on a 15-game slate and delivered with over 30 points. He’ll be even more highly owned tonight and if you play cash, just eat the chalk.

Twins Hitters to Target

Elite Options – Brian Dozier, Logan Morrison, Eduardo Escobar

Secondary Options – Max Kepler, Eddie Rosario

Home Run Pick – It’s a bit of a copout, but it’s Brian Dozier again.
