Scherzer’s start has the threat of being cut short by a delay, at least according to threat of thunderstorms showing up mid-afternoon according to the Weather Channel. But that will likely change as it gets closer to gametime. The Phillies-Nationals game is the only threat to have a weather delay, but stay up-to-date with Mark Paquette on Twitter @DFSMLBWeather.
Only two games have an over/under of 9.5 on the featured slate. Of course it’s Indians-Yankees in the Bronx and Twins-White Sox, which has averaged 11 runs per game in the first three games of this series.
The Mets-Rockies and Phillies-Nationals games have the lowest over/under with 7 runs.
Top three run projections: Red Sox 5.26, Twins 5.15, Yankees 5.11
Bottom three run projections: Rockies and Phillies 2.95, Rangers 3.24
