KANSAS CITY, MO – APRIL 13: Kansas City Royals Catcher Salvador Perez (13) waves to fans in the stands during warmups before the MLB regular season game between the Kansas City Royals and the Los Angeles Angels on Friday April 13th, 2018 at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, MO. Catchers

There isn’t a lot of depth at catcher, especially with the uncertainty of who will be starting or getting a day off.

One thing is for sure, Wilson Ramos is swinging it right now and has a seven-game hitting streak. Francisco Cervelli has a six-game hitting streak. Both are solid plays if they are in the lineup on Sunday.

Top Tier

Salvador Perez ($3,700), vs. Matt Boyd

Perez is 5 for 18 lifetime against Boyd and has two home runs off of the southpaw. He hit a two-run homer in the series opener on Thursday as part of a 25 DKFP night. The Royals backstop has been a better hitter at The K this year.

Others: Wilson Ramos ($3,900), Francisco Cervelli ($3,600)

Value

Yan Gomes ($3,300), vs. Domingo German

Gomes has played well lately, averaging 8.7 DKFP over his last seven contests. German hasn’t pitched well in New York, having given up all six of his runs, including two home runs.
