Third Basemen

There is plenty of depth at third base with a plethora of players to choose from at each level.

Jose Ramirez has been scorching the ball and could anchor an Indians stack as he’s averaging 15.5 DKFP in his last eight games, which includes seven doubles, 10 runs scored and two home runs.

Doug Fister has a 2.88 ERA but a 4.16 FIP, which favors Red Sox hitters such as Rafael Devers, who hit a pair of home runs off Bartolo Colon on Friday night.

In a limited sample size, Matt Duffy is 1 for 3 with 3 RBI off of Marco Estrada. Yolmer Sanchez is 3 for 11 with one double against Kyle Gibson.

Top Tier

Josh Donaldson ($4,900), vs. Chris Archer

Archer has had Donaldson’s number (.171) but the All-Star third baseman has hit two home runs off of Archer.

Others: Jose Ramirez ($4,800), Rafael Devers ($4,100), Eduardo Escobar ($4,000)

Value

Anthony Rendon ($3,700), vs. Jake Arrieta

Rendon carries a 4 for 11 line against Arrieta. The Nationals third baseman has kept his strikeouts down this season with a 0.83 strikeout-to-walk ratio.

Others: Yolmer Sanchez ($3,300), Matt Duffy ($2,800)
