Sharks vs. Golden Knights live stream, Game 6: TV schedule, online and more
By Adam Stocker
The San Jose Sharks host the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 6 of the Pacific Division Final. Here’s everything you need to know to watch.
The Vegas Golden Knights are one game away from advancing to the Western Conference Final in their first season. The San Jose Sharks are hoping to send the series back to Las Vegas for Game 7.
The difference between San Jose and Vegas through five games has been the goalies. Marc-Andre Fleury is significantly out-playing Martin Jones. Fleury has a .925 save percentage in the series. Jones was pulled for the second time in the series in Game 5 and has a .886 save percentage. If there is going to be a Game 7, San Jose needs Jones to outplay Fleury.
The Sharks acquired Evander Kane at the trade deadline and he was excellent in the first round of the playoffs. However, in the second round, Kane has been a dud. After being suspended for a game, Kane has only one point in the series. Kane is far from the only San Jose forward who has struggled against Vegas. Joe Pavelski has only one point in the last three games and Chris Tierney has only one point in the series.
Vegas has been able to limit the Sharks offensive chances because of the balance in their defense. While the Golden Knights don’t have a traditional shutdown defenseman, they have three solid pairs. Vegas’ balance allows them to match any pair up against any line without worrying about being at a disadvantage. At the other end of the ice, the Golden Knights’ top two lines have produced. Six Vegas forwards have at least five points in the series.
