High Salary PG

Ben Simmons ($8,600): Simmons was better in Game 3, finishing with 4.15 fantasy points. He was never going to play as poorly as he did in Game 2, but his ceiling against the Celtics appears to be around 40 fantasy points. That’s good enough for value, but don’t expect much more out of him than that. ***

Kyle Lowry ($8,000): Lowry has been consistent all postseason. While DeMar DeRozan has struggled, Lowry has been there to pick up the slack. Maybe he can’t elevate himself to that superstar level, but he’s a proven contributor on a good salary. And he’ll need to be great once again if the Raptors want to see Game 5. ****

High Value PG

Marcus Smart ($5,800): Smart hasn’t been good on the road in the playoff, but he’s getting plenty of minutes and shots. But due to his road struggles, I have to dock him a star from his previous rating. The upside is still there, but shots just aren’t falling for him away from Boston. **

George Hill ($3,900): Hill has been right at value in the last two games. He’s not putting up huge numbers, but much like Smart, he’s getting big minutes and a chance to contribute alongside the best player in the world. If he doesn’t hit, he’s not quite the salary killer that Smart can be. ***
