2. The Warriors are healthy and yikes

When Steph Curry shoots over 45 percent and is flexing and shimmying, he’s 100 percent healthy and one of the most gifted offensive players of all-time. When he shoots under 45 percent and is tossing his mouthpiece at others, he’s maybe 30 percent healthy. Ankles are tricky like that.

He looked 100 percent by the end of the series. And that’s bad news for the Rockets and whoever (LeBron) comes out of the East.

Remember when everyone on the Warriors was injured near the end of the season? The sky was falling and Kevin Durant was ruining the team with his Thunder-centric offense. The the Warriors Hamptons 5 dynasty was over before it really started. We were going to look back on this team and remember them for falling apart in year two instead of winning five titles in five seasons. And the Raptors were coming out of the East.

Yeah, about that.

Everyone is healthy now and their dismantling of the Pelicans reminded everyone that they are still the team to beat. Ok, the Pelicans took one game in the series. It was a game where Curry was only 31 percent healthy and Durant was so bad Draymond Green had to send him a 4 a.m. text message afterward. You know what happens when Draymond sends a text message following a loss?

The rest of the NBA crumbles at the feet of the mighty Warriors. We all get on our hands and knees and worship at the alter of Light Years. Not because we chose to, but because Golden State forces us to. And if we don’t, they become furious and bewildered.

You don’t want to play them when they are furious, bewildered, and healthy.
