Sixers-Celtics (Celtics Lead 3-1)

With only one game on the schedule, your only option is FanDuel’s single game league. In single game leagues, you select five players (one from each team). One guard, one forward/center, two position less players, and a MVP. The MVP scores with a 1.5 multiplier.

In a one game league, you have to identify players who are going to play. That means any starter is a good bet.

Joel Embiid ($17,000) not getting his usual number of shots and the Sixers winning Game 4 has me worried about his value in Game 5. If The Sixers again decide to play through others, Embiid might not be worth it at this salary. He’s still going to get points and rebounds, but be cautious if you’re making him your MVP.

Ben Simmons ($16,000) has been much better since his Game 2 performance. But now he’s returning to Boston and good players do dumb things when in Boston. If you’re choosing between him and Embiid, the center is the better option.

I love Terry Rozier ($15,000) and Al Horford ($13,500) because of how well they’ve played at home in the postseason. Rozier in particular has been a different animal on his home floor. If you’re taking Rozier, make him your MVP.

Dario Saric ($12,500) found his shot in Game 4. Prior to that, he had still been good enough to get you value. Both he and Jayson Tatum ($12,000) are reliable options. Tatum has the higher ceiling due to Boston’s play at home.

Marcus Smart ($11,500) has been fantastic at home all postseason while J.J. Redick ($10,500) should have a bounce back game on Wednesday. He was great in Games 1 and 2. Maybe you roll the dice with Robert Covington ($10,000) but nothing is a guarantee with him and Marcus Morris ($9,500) is more reliable.

Jaylen Brown ($9,000) didn’t play well in Game 4, but if he’s off his minutes restriction, it could mean big things for his value in Game 5. T.J. McConnell ($7,500) played big minutes and delivered in Game 4. Does he have it in him again? I’d be cautious. Marco Belinelli ($7,000), Ersan Ilyasova ($7,000) and Aron Baynes ($6,500) are all options who will get playing times and chances. I like Ilyasova the most of the three.
