4. Chicago Bears

Nobody is talking about the Bears. Why? Because Chicago has been nothing but a speed bump for successful teams since they last reached the postseason back in 2010. The Bears have been going through quarterbacks and coaches something fierce over that span, but the franchise finally seems to have figured it out.

The Bears made a terrific hire in Matt Nagy this offseason, the former offensive coordinator of the Kansas City Chiefs. Nagy is innovative and will turn John Fox’s stagnant schemes into multiple looks that will empower second-year quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, who Chicago took in the 2017 draft with the second-overall selection.

Additionally, the Bears did a nice job of signing some key free agents to provide support for Trubisky. General manager Ryan Pace was able to bring in receivers Taylor Gabriel and Allen Robinson, along with athletic tight end Trey Burton. Pace also had some nice finds in the draft, nabbing linebacker Roquan Smith, center James Daniels and wide receiver Anthony Miller in the first three rounds.
