Good boy Bark-Andre Furry finally meets his idol, good goalie Marc-Andre Fleury
Our favorite goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury got a surprise after practice today when he finally had the chance to meet our favorite good boy Bark-Andre Furry and we couldn’t be more excited!
They say you should never meet your idols, but what do they know? Super good dog Bark-Andre Furry got the chance to meet his idol Marc-Andre Fleury on Thursday, and judging by the smile on his adorable furry face, it went pretty well.
The Vegas Golden Knights have been dominating these playoffs and it’s left them
bored
having to find ways to keep busy. We can’t think of a better way than granting fans like Bark-Andre a chance to meet their human counterparts.
Bark-Andre broke onto the scene a couple weeks ago, and we here at FanSided loved it. The 10-year old Jack Russell terrier frequents the Golden Knights practices, and has even been known to occasionally bark at Knights players through the glass (barks of encouragement, of course). Apparently it is working.
The Knights are shocking everyone by dominating each team they come up against and are now awaiting their partner in the Western Conference Final. Marc-Andre Fleury is posting some of the best numbers we’ve ever seen, with an incredible .951 save percentage and a 1.53 goals-against average. He also has four shut-outs in only 10 games. Most importantly, think of how happy this is making Bark-Andre!
We’re all excited for Game 7 of the Nashville Predators and Winnipeg Jets to wrap up, but none more so that Bark-Andre Furry, who can’t wait to see his new best friend Marc-Andre in action again.
History knows a long list of doggy/human duos, including the likes of Shaggy and Scooby Doo, Turner and Hooch, Elle and Bruiser and John Snow and Ghost.
We can now officially add Marc-Andre Fleury and Bark-Andre Furry to this list.
Bark-Andre is the best boy. We love him and you should love him too. At this point, with Mark-Andre playing so well, there is a legitimate shot of Bark-Andre eating treats out of the Stanley Cup and right now there isn’t anything on earth we’d rather see.
