Wide Receiver – Robby Anderson, Quincy Enunwa, Jermaine Kearse, Terrelle Pryor

There’s some big questions in this receiving corps, which makes it tough to forecast for fantasy. The biggest name is Anderson who finished as a top 20 receiver in all formats last season. He could still get suspended for some potential unsavory off the field conduct during the offseason, though nothing is official at this point. The suspension must be scaring players off at this stage because Anderson is currently outside the top 35 of receivers in drafts.

Even if Anderson dodges a suspension, the biggest question remaining is what will his chemistry be with a quarterback that is not Josh McCown. After McCown got hurt late last year, Anderson didn’t gain more than 51 yards in three games. Now, it’s fair to point out that the quarterback situation behind McCown is likely better than last year. It’s still a bit of a risk heading into the year. If the price remains the same, I’m likely to have some shares of Anderson. The talent on the field is legitimate. If he misses a couple of games, he can still be a WR2 on a per-game basis the rest of the way.

The rest of this corps could just all mash together. Enunwa is the most intriguing because he actually had a pretty solid season in 2016. He missed all of last season with a neck injury and is fully healed and ready to go. He should enter the season as the number two option in the Jets passing game which should have some value,  especially in PPR leagues. Pryor has plenty of athleticism but he flamed out in Washington. He struggled to mesh with quarterback Kirk Cousins and fought injury basically all season. It’s hard to project any fantasy relevance for him or Kearse this season.

Tight End – Eric Tomlinson, Clive Wolford

Tight end is a difficult position to fill for fantasy football. After the big three at the top in Rob Gronkowski, Travis Kelce and Zach Ertz, there’s a lot of guys that can have a good week and disappear for the next three weeks. Having said all of that, Tomlinson and Wolford can be avoided in all formats. It would be stunning if either player had any fantasy value this upcoming year.
