THE HAGUE, THE NETHERLANDS – DECEMBER 28: Inhabitants of Duindorp, a fishing neighborhood in The Hague, build a thirty five meter high bonfire on the beach in The Hague on December 28, 2017. Tens of thousands of wooden pallets collected during the year and stored in secret locations are lifted and piled up until the evening of December 31. The New Year’s Eve bonfire of Duindorp has been relocated on the beach in the nineties to restore peace in the neighborhood as violent brawls often erupted and many vehicles were set on fire. You’re seeing Fortnite in everyday life

This is taking our first point one step further. Not only are you thinking in Fortnite, but you are now seeing in Fortnite as well. Seeing in Fortnite is when the game crosses in to your reality and you start putting yourself in a “what would I do if I were in the game” situation.

Every time you see a stack of wood pallets, you think of how much valuable resources you would get from them. You see a purple street sign out of the corner of your eye and think of what weapon it might be. A storm is rolling in and you start making “get to the circle” jokes.

Much like in our first point about “thinking in Fortnite,” if you are seeing these things as well, you are a true student of the game. Nothing gets past you and you’ll be that much sharper the next time you squad up. The margin for error is very thin when you are vying for a victory royale, so sharpening your sight in real life can’t hurt.

Is this a problem?

Not unless you start chopping down your neighbors trees or fences with an ax.
