Dortmund lost 2-1 to Mainz last weekend and have struggled lately. After a 12 game unbeaten run to start Peter Stoger’s tenure, Dortmund have lost three of their last six games. Maximilian Philipp has played well in place of Michy Batshuayi, scoring three goals in his last five games. Stoger has shifted to a 4-1-4-1 formation, playing Jadon Sancho, Marco Reus, Mario Gotze and Christian Pulisic behind Philipp. Few teams in German can match the Dortmund attack in terms of talent.
