Roma vs. Juventus live stream: Watch Serie A online
Juventus face Roma on Sunday, May 13 at the Stadio Olimpico. Here’s what you need to know before tuning in.
The Serie A season will likely be officially decided Sunday when Juventus, winners of the last six league titles, travel south to Italy’s capital to take on third-place Roma. While Napoli play at Sampdoria, all Juve really need to clinch it all is at least a point. For Juventus, it’s not a matter of if, but rather when.
After a long season that saw Juventus and Napoli trade places for the top spot, it’s the Bianconeri who are all but assured of the title. Juventus currently hold a six-point lead over Napoli with two matchdays left to play.
While the head-to-head tiebreaker is level (after Juventus and Napoli traded 1-0 results this season), the second tie-breaker involves goal differential. Juventus currently hold a significantly better goal differential.
That said, there is still a game to be played at the Stadio Olimpico and Juventus, four days after playing AC Milan in the Coppa Italia final, are fully aware that Roma will not be an easy opponent. The Giallorosi are trying to lock up third place, currently battling city rivals Lazio for the spot, and coming off what has been a great season for them domestically and in the Champions League after they were recently eliminated by Liverpool in the semifinals.
“It will be the most beautiful and difficult scudetto, but with every year that passes that’s how it is,” Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri said. “We honor every competition we enter and try to get right to the very end of everything.”
Both Juventus and Roma have been great for Italian and European soccer. In a season that included Italy’s failure to qualify for the World Cup for the first time in 60 years, it very much needed club times to rise to the occasion and earn some respect. These two clubs did just that this season.

All the Old Lady needs Sunday is a draw to realistically seal the deal, regardless of what Napoli do in Genoa, and what seemed like an impossible outcome just weeks ago will finally happen in Rome. Even if the math doesn’t add up for Juve this weekend, it will on the last day of the season when they play at home against already-relegated Verona.
