With two games remaining, the Serie A title race is still alive, just barely. Napoli are six points behind Juventus and will need the defending champions to lose their remaining games. On Sunday, Sampdoria host Napoli, who need to win if they are going to keep their hopes alive. Sampdoria are also on the outside looking in. The Blucerchiati need to win their remaining games and hope that either AC Milan or Atalanta lost out if they are going to qualify for Europa League.

Sampdoria have struggled down the stretch, falling behind in the race for Europe. Marco Giampaolo’s side have lost six of their last nine games. Samp have scored the sixth most goals in Serie A but are in the bottom half of Serie A, conceding 55 goals. Fabio Quagliarella and Duvan Zapata have combined for 30 goals this season and will need to find the back of the net if they are going to keep their Europa League hopes alive.

Three weeks ago, Napoli defeated Juventus to move within one point of the defending champions. However, the Light Blues followed up their biggest win of the season with a loss to Fiorentina and a draw against Torino. Napoli’s front three of Dries Mertens, Jose Callejon and Lorenzo Insigne have combined for 35 goals this season. However, the trio have combined for only three goals over Napoli’s last nine games. The front three need to find the back of the net Sunday if they are going to keep their slim title hopes alive.
