NBA Playoffs 2018: Houston Rockets vs. Golden State Warriors Game 1 live stream: Watch online
By Dre Elder
The Rockets begin their quest to dethrone the defending champion Warriors in Houston on Monday night. Here is how you can watch Game 1 online.
The Houston Rockets have not been quiet about their desire to take down the Golden State Warriors this season. Now, the time has come. Houston won two of three against Golden State during the regular season, which only bolstered their confidence against the NBA’s most talented team. However, those regular season victories are worth as much as a dial-up internet connection right now. The Rockets will have to prove they can best the Warriors when it matters most. And James Harden and Chris Paul are expecting to do just that.
The Golden State Warriors seemingly cruised through the regular season. They suffered blowout losses and looked uninterested at times. Furthermore, two-time MVP, Steph Curry, played just 51 games due to knee and ankle injuries. And yet, the Warriors have found their swagger at the right time. Golden State has won eight playoff games by an average of nearly 15 points per game. They understood the hype around this series against Houston, but maintain there is no added motivation for them. The defending champions may find solace in enemy territory as they are starting a playoff series on the road for the first time since 2014.
