Capitals vs. Lightning live stream, Game 3: TV schedule, online and more

Down 2-0 in their best of seven Eastern Conference Final series, the Tampa Bay Lightning will try to get back on track Tuesday night against the Washington Capitals. Dig in below for TV listings, times and stream information.
The dream of a Stanley Cup for Washington Capitals’ fans keeps looking more like a soon-to-be reality with each passing game. After thumping the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-2 in Game 1, the Caps came back with an even better performance on Sunday en route to a 6-2 victory. That puts them two wins away from moving beyond the Eastern Conference Final for the first time since 1998.
They’ve also done this on the road in Tampa Bay, where it has been near impossible to beat the Lightning throughout the season. The series will shift to Washington for Games 3 and 4 starting Tuesday night.
How have the Capitals done this though? The answer is simple: depth. And coming into this matchup, that didn’t seem a strength for Washington over Tampa Bay. We’ve belabored the fact that the Lightning have an immense amount of talent up and down their lineup. Well, so does the opposition and they’d like to tell you about it. Aside from Alexander Ovechkin, who has four points already, eight other players had at least one point in the first contest. Ten overall had at least a point in Game 2 on Sunday.
That includes huge performances from Lars Eller and Evgeny Kuznetsov. Those two have nine points between them.

For Tampa Bay, and maybe more specifically goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy, things have to turn around and quick. This series could be about over without a stellar performance in net. Vasilevskiy has been poor through two games. He gave up four goals on 25 shots Friday before being pulled. He then gave up six goals on 37 shots.
Though Brayden Point has been a standout thus far, Nikita Kucherov will need to hit the net a couple of times in Game 3 to keep his club in it. Especially on the road where it’s never easy to win a playoff game, unless you’re Washington we suppose.
Players to watch, Game 3
Capitals: Lars Eller. After a three-point effort on Sunday, Eller seems to have taken a bit of thunder away from Ovechkin. I’m sure Alex the Great doesn’t mind, considering he’s having himself a fantastic series too. For Washington to win these next two at home, Eller and his friends will need to continue the strong start that’s pushed them to this lead.
Lightning: Nikita Kucherov. Before the Capitals took on the Pittsburgh Penguins earlier in the previous round, we stated how Ovechkin would have to match the output of Crosby to get his team over the hump. The same now applies for Kucherov. He’s been the best player for Tampa Bay nearly all season, and he has to be again in this one. We could say watch Vasilevskiy and whether or not he has a better performance than he did Sunday, but you might not want to submit yourself to more pain. Kucherov may need to become the best player in this entire series to get them back within a game.
