1. The things Dez does well fit Aaron Rodgers beautifully

Much like with NFL prospects coming out of college, it’s important ask what a player can do, not what he can’t. Dez Bryant can still win on slant routes where he can use his strength and body position to wall off defenders.

Aaron Rodgers might be the best slant thrower in history, with the ability to fit the ball into windows that don’t exist.

No one throws the backshoulder fade better than Rodgers, and Bryant still has excellent body control and ability to make catches outside his frame. With Davante Adams, Jimmy Graham and Dez Bryant in the red zone, how are teams going to stop them? It was already so automatic in the red zone to start last season, Rodgers admitted he knew when the play was called if they were going to score.

And although the Packers haven’t had a player to go win 50/50 balls since Jermichael Finley, Rodgers loved to give his big tight end a chance to make those plays. In fact, because he’s so accurate even on those little touch throws, Rodgers has a career contested catch rate at 85%. It’s hard not to think that wouldn’t go up throwing to one of the best contested catch receivers of recent vintage.
