Battlefield V will be revealed next week
The next installment in the popular Battlefield series, Battlefield V, is officially confirmed. The best news is it’s being revealed next week.
First-person shooter purists will definitely get a kick out of this one. For years now, the Battlefield series has been one of the most popular video game franchises. Obviously, not every game is a complete hit, especially with some fans who complain about everything (sometimes rightfully so). Still, there have been classic installments. Some that come to mind include Battlefield 3 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2. We’re hoping Battlefield V can give us the same feeling when it gets revealed next week.
We won’t necessarily say any games in this series are bad. However, it’s the lack of certain things that keep them from being the best games they could be. Plus, with EA as the publisher and its annoying micro-transactions, it also pushes the fans away. First and foremost, we’re hoping Battlefield V is simply a good game. Some things that’ll help it succeed are balance, fun gameplay, and a ton of variety.
We’re sure we’ll get a good idea of what the game will be about with the reveal next week. Before we get into more details and a specific game mode, check out the official announcement below:
The one gaming genre the world is on a frenzy about is Battle Royale. With games like PlayersUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Fortnite, which are the most popular games out right now, we expect EA to dip their toes into the playing field as well. Whether it’ll work is still unknown, of course. You can bet the developers will try, though.

We’re more than confident we’ll see something about it next week. In similar fashion, we expect Call of Duty: Black Ops IV to do the same. You can be sure EA will try to out-do Activison/Treyarch Studios, who will be revealing Black Ops IV tomorrow.
Be sure to tune into the Battlefield V reveal next week on May 23, 2018.
