Warriors-Rockets (Warriors Lead 1-0)

With only one game on the schedule, your top option is FanDuel’s Single Game Boost. In single game leagues, you select five players (one from each team). The MVP (scores a 2x multiplier), the Star (scores a 1.5x multiplier), the Pro (scores a 1.2x a multiplier) and two positionless players.

In a one game league, you have to identify players who are going to play. That means any starter is a good bet.

The top six players are all separated by $1,000 intervals. James Harden ($17,500) had it going in Game 1. He got the switch on Steph Curry throughout the game and went to work. He’ll continue to get that switch all series, which should be good news for his fantasy value. But will he shoot as well as he did in Game 1? Yeah, probably.

Kevin Durant ($16,500) scored plenty in Game 1, but didn’t do much of anything else, hurting his overall value. He’ll continue to score at will in this series. And I suspect he’ll find more rebounds and assists as the series goes along.

Steph Curry ($15,500) shot poorly from deep, but still gave good value with assists and rebounds. He’s too good to miss some of the looks he was getting in Game 1 moving forward. Meanwhile, Chris Paul ($14,500) had his usual production. But he’ll need to be better if the Rockets want to remain in this series.

Clint Capela ($13,500) proved his worth in Game 1 and I suspect he’ll get more minutes moving forward. But Draymond Green ($12,500) didn’t even play well and still outperformed him. And Klay Thompson ($10,500) is always a great option at an affordable price due to the number of shots he gets.

Below Thompson is where things get messy. Andre Iguodala ($8,500) is the best of the bunch in my estimation. He plays next to four All-Stars and contributes in a variety of ways. Eric Gordon ($9,000) has the higher ceiling, but Iguodala is more reliable. P.J. Tucker ($9,000) and Trevor Ariza ($8,000) will provide some value. I continue to like Tucker more due to his defense.

Kevon Looney ($8,000) proved he could stay on the floor in Game 1. Those minutes will translate into fantasy points at some point in their series, but maybe not until Game 3. Shaun Livingston ($6,500) will continue to make some impact as the backup point guard.
