Celtics-Cavaliers (Celtics Lead 2-0)
With only one game on the schedule, your top DraftKings option is Showdown. If you’re unfamiliar with Showdown, it’s a one game league where you have six spots, positions don’t matter, salaries are inflated from your typical leagues, and you have to select at least one player from each team.
The Celtics delivered in both home games, which was to be expected. They haven’t been quite as good on the road, going 1-4 in the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers are 5-1 at home. Expect to see the Cleveland role players play much better on Saturday.
And expect LeBron James ($18,900) to have another monster game. He had 78.5 fantasy points in Game 2. Now his team faces the possibility of going down 3-0. He’ll do everything in his power to will his team to victory in Game 3. Maybe it will be enough, maybe it won’t. But he’s going to be over 70 fantasy points.
Kevin Love ($12,600) played better in Game 2 and with the series shifting to Cleveland, he becomes a more attractive option over Al Horford ($12,200). Horford hasn’t been quite as good on the road during the playoffs and Jaylen Brown ($11,700) offers slightly more value on Saturday.
Jayson Tatum ($10,900) wasn’t good in Game 2 and Terry Rozier ($10,600) has been under 30 fantasy points in both games. Marcus Smart ($9,200) has provided more value than Rozier in this series. Defense travels and Smart will continue to be a pest for the Celtics.
Marcus Morris ($7,500) didn’t shoot well in Game 2 and has been more miss than hit on the road. He’ll continue to get his shots, but Aron Baynes ($5,600) might be more cost effective due to his role on Boston.
Tristan Thompson ($5,100) still have some value due to the minutes he plays. Kyle Korver ($4,700) is still my favorite Cleveland role player and he should be playing more minutes. Especially with the way J.R. Smith ($3,800) has looked. Of course, being at home and J.R. being J.R., expect him to have 20-plus fantasy points in Game 3. George Hill ($4,200) and Jeff Green ($3,300) are just as unreliable as Smith.
