The Tampa Bay Lightning take on the Washington Capitlas in game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals. Who will win?
Its been a fun and interesting series so far. The Lightning have been a surprise and really good so far. The Capitals have work to do in Game 5 to try and gain some momentum. Tampa Bay will have home ice advantage but they need to use it .
The Capitals have a high-powered offense led by T.J Oshie and Alex Ovechkin. The Lightning will have to defend against the Capitals offense. There is Steven Stamkos on the other side who has had enjoyed success in the playoffs. Stamkos has at least a goal in each game of this series. Also he has five power play goals in playoffs. The Capitals are going to really have to be careful with him because he has been dangerous lately.
Staying out of the penalty box will be key to this game. The Capitals have had a hard time staying out of the penalty as of late. The Lightning will no doubt take advantage of those mistakes because they have a very strong special teams. Penalties will be a key to this game because they could create momentum for the other team. Expect Game 5 to be a cleaner game on both sides of the puck .

On paper, the Lightning seem to have the slight advantage due to their offense and special teams . But the Capitals can’t be counted out of this game either. The maybe considered the underdog but that may work in their favor. This will be an interesting game and there will be some high intense moments.
