1. Hire a developmental coach/coordinator

Colorado has such a young talented team that just needs some development. The Avalanche should hire a coach or coordinator to help develop the young core of players.

This team needs someone to help bring them to the next level, perhaps someone who has played in the NHL. This coach can work with the players on developing into NHL-caliber players, as Tyson Jost has done. There is work that needs to be done here.

The Avalanche need another coach It’s hard to develop a team, and this one is filled with guys who don’t have any experience.

The team needs some help developing the young players because there is so much potential there. But at some point during the season and in the playoffs, you could see the inexperience. They had a hard time with some of the aggressive teams.

It couldn’t hurt to have another set of eyes and someone who could bring a different strategy.

This team needs to find ways to get these players NHL-ready before the season. The Draft is coming fast. Colorado needs to make sure it is ready to bring out the most in the new players.
