The Washington Capitals host the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Final. Here’s everything you need to know to watch.

On Saturday night, the Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the Washington Capitals by a final score of 3-2 in the Eastern Conference final. Strong performances from the likes of Andrei Vasilevskiy, Ryan Callahan, Cedric Paquette and Nikita Kucherov was the central avenue through which the Lightning snatched victory from the jaws of defeat and ushered forth a 3-2 series lead.

For the Bolts, Game 6 is an opportunity for the books, as the team will look to advance to the Stanley Cup Finals. Expect the club’s depth-ridden tactics to show, as players like Callahan, Kucherov, Steven Stamkos and Victor Hedman will be relied upon to match Barry Trotz’s men before fans at Capital One Arena. If Vasilevskiy manages to have another “lights-out” night, the Lightning may be one step closer to lifting Lord Stanley’s trophy.

For the Capitals, Monday’s game is a must-win matchup. The team will need its secondary scoring to come to light, as the Bolts’ ability to run four lines has devastated opponents throughout their 2017-18 campaign. Look for Alexander Ovechkin, Evgeny Kuznetsov, Lars Eller and John Carlson to continue to make their two-way presence felt, as Washington shall aim to even up the series. If they are able to walk away with a victory in this do-or-die contest, Game 7 is anyone’s to win.
