Celtics-Cavaliers (Celtics Lead 2-1)

With only one game on the schedule, your top option is FanDuel’s Single Game Boost. In single game leagues, you select five players (one from each team). The MVP (scores a 2x multiplier), the Star (scores a 1.5x multiplier), the Pro (scores a 1.2x a multiplier) and two positionless players.

In a one game league, you have to identify players who are going to play. That means any starter is a good bet.

Once again, you can build around LeBron James ($20,000) or you can hope Boston plays better in Game 4.

LeBron didn’t have the monster game I expected him to have in Game 3, but he still outscored Al Horford ($14,000), Jayson Tatum ($12,500) and Jaylen Brown ($12,000) all by himself. At least Terry Rozier ($11,500) put Boston over the top. Will that happened again? I’m not in the business of betting against LeBron at home against a Celtics team the has struggled on the road all postseason.

The Boston guys will be better. I’m looking at Jaylen Brown to have a bounce back performance of the four Boston players. Marcus Smart ($10,500) still offers more value than Marcus Morris ($10,000) on the road. Though neither are shooting all that well.

I still find more value in Kevin Love ($14,500) than Horford. You can save the $500 by taking Kyle Korver ($8,000) or George Hill ($9,000) over J.R. Smith ($9,500) and get the same if not better value.

Tristan Thompson ($8,500) and Aron Baynes ($7,500) are reliable contributors due to their positions. They’ll get points and rebounds without much trouble. Larry Nance Jr. ($7,000) was a big contributor in Game 3. But was he a contributor because it was a blowout or did he contribute to the blowout? I’m leaning towards the former. You can always grab some lower salary guys if you’re banking on another blowout and hoping they get garbage time points.
