Where can you find the eighth episode of Legion season 2 online?
Whose body are we going to find this week? In the promo for the episode, embedded below, we can see a skeleton lying in the same/dirt. The entire season has been building up to a search for Farouk’s body, but I don’t think that was what we saw. You kind of have to assume that Farouk, being a super powerful mutant, would have a slightly more durable body than your average person. Yet the skeleton is just that, a skeleton.
So far, most of the real work locating the body has been done off-screen. I thought that Cary’s psychic-enhancement-pod had been to look for Farouk, and maybe it was, but we haven’t seen it used that much. And from what Lenny said after her return, Farouk may have already found the body.
And so we get back to the skeleton. That skeleton might be what they were searching for, but it wasn’t Farouk’s body. The guess at Division 3 was that it was actually Lenny’s. Apparently after David killed her in season 1 she was buried somewhere in the desert.
The other intriguing facet of this episode is Syd. Last week Farouk told her that David was really the so-called bad guy. The one they had to save the future from. But this needs to be taken with a few grains of salt, simply because the information came from Farouk. The problem is that we’ve seen David exhibit some… rather problematic behavior and make selfish choices before. So it’s not totally unbelievable that he would do some harm. And that might be even without accounting for his powers and how strong he is. Still, no one on the show really knows what David can and can’t do. He certainly doesn’t.
