The Enlightenment has already begun, but Team Flash might still be able to rally together to prevent the Thinker from achieving his ultimate victory.
All of The Flash season 4 has led down this road. The Thinker has consistently been one step ahead of our heroes as he attempts to transform the world into his version of a utopia, one where he would do all the thinking for everyone. In “We Are The Flash,” Barry Allen and his friends will either have to come together like never before or it’s all over.
But come on, this is a superhero show we’re talking about, and one that has already been renewed for the fall. Do we really think Team Flash won’t figure out some way of stopping DeVoe?
Of course not. But the intrigue is in how they’ll do it, not to mention the other subplots that still have to be addressed. Will Joe and Cecile have their baby? What’s up with Caitlin Snow, and has she really always been Killer Frost? What about the Mystery Girl who may or may not be from the future?
Plus there’s the most important question of all, which is whether or not Marlize DeVoe will aid in the fight against her husband. She certainly has seen her perfect love fall apart, and she’s long wanted to do the right thing. Maybe she’ll throw in and realize she can be part of “We Are The Flash” as well.
