Is Solo: A Star Wars Story in 3D? With the movie depicting Han Solo’s origin story right around the corner, we have all the information you need to get you ready for the latest Star Wars film.

Come Friday, May 25, 2018, audiences across America will be able to see Disney’s latest film set in a galaxy far, far away with Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Based off a script written by Lawrence Kasdan (Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark) and his son Jonathan Kasdan, the film features younger versions of characters plenty familiar to fans.

In addition to the titular Han Solo, who will be played by Alden Ehrenreich (Hail, Casesar!), Lando Calrissian and Chewbacca will also appear.

Lando is being portrayed Donald Glover (Atlanta), while Joonas Suotamo will once again play the famous Wookie after playing the character in part in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, as well as Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

The movie, however, won’t be short on new faces to the Star Wars universe either.

Plenty of characters will be debuting in the film, including Woody Harrelson’s (Three Billboards Outside Ebbbing, Missouri) Beckett, Emilia Clarke’s (Game of Thrones) Qi’ra, Thandie Newton’s (Westworld) Val, Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s (Fleabag) L3-37 and Paul Bettany’s (Avengers: Infinity War) Dryden Vos. Additionally, Jon Favreau (director of Iron Man and The Jungle Book) and Linda Hunt (Kindergarten Cop) will be voicing the respective characters of Rio Durant and Lady Proxima.

The question now is, will the movie be in 3D?

That would be a yes.

Moviegoers will be able to purchase tickets to 3D showings of the film. Tickets are on sale now.
