Warriors-Rockets (Series Tied 2-2)

With only one game on the schedule, your top DraftKings option is Showdown. If you’re unfamiliar with Showdown, it’s a one game league where you have six spots, positions don’t matter, salaries are inflated from your typical leagues, and you have to select at least one player from each team.

James Harden ($13,700) regains the salary lead after his 51.5 fantasy point performance in Game 4. He’s been over 40 fantasy points in all four games and has the highest ceiling of any performer. With the Rockets back at home and feeling good about their chances, expect more out of the same out of Harden.

Kevin Durant ($13,400) didn’t shoot well in Game 4, but still managed 47.5 fantasy points. As long as he’s chipping in with rebounds, you don’t have to worry about his scoring. Draymond will send him a late night text and he’ll look more like himself in Game 5.
Steph Curry ($12,800) has been up-and-down with his shoot in this series. He was down in Game 4 and his assist numbers have been down in the last two games. Look for him to be a playmaker again and not force as many things as he did in Game 4.

Chris Paul ($11,400) got his scoring number in Game 4, but didn’t contribute elsewhere. I’m looking for a big game out of him in Game 5. He’ll continue to get shots and I would expect him to grab more rebounds and get more assists as the role players shoot better and Paul stays aggressive.

Draymond Green ($12,300) is always reliable for around 40 fantasy points, especially if Andre Iguodala is out once again. Clint Capela ($9,000) is solid enough, but his ceiling seems to be around 30 fantasy points.

Klay Thompson ($8,600) is listed as questionable, but it sounds like he’s going to play. With the way he shot in Game 4 and how uncomfortable he looked following the knee injury, he’s a risk. The shots will be there and his ceiling is high, but he’s been a disappointment in three of the four games. You may find more value in Eric Grodon ($7,000) as shots should fall for him in Houston.

P.J. Tucker ($6,700) continues to outperform Trevor Ariz ($5,500) in this series. Both players shot lights out in Game 2. Tucker is the better bet, but Ariza works in a pinch as he’ll get big minutes and chances.

Kevon Looney ($4,200) didn’t make the impact many, including myself, hoped when he filled in for Andre Iguodala ($5,800). He’s still a serviceable option if Iguodala is out once again. If Iguodala is able to play, he’s less desirable, but there is still some value there. If for some reason Klay Thompson can’t play, Nick Young ($2,400) could be a salary saver who gives you value.

Shaun Livingston ($3,300) and Gerald Green ($2,800) will get minutes and continue something.
