NBA 2k League Week 3: Top 5 highlights, performances and full recap

The third week of the NBA 2k League regular season delivered a huge upset, two teams rising to the top and a player proving himself too good to ignore.

The first of two midseason tournaments is quickly approaching for the 17 NBA 2k League teams, and the four weeks of regular season games the teams are currently playing are all about positioning for that tourney. In the third week of those games, the races for seeding tightened up as games played out. Following are all the scores from games on Friday, May 25 and Saturday, May 26:

Five individual performances stood above the rest between Friday night and Saturday. Blazer5 Gaming’s Mama Im Dat Man kept his team undefeated in regular season play with 21 points and 11 assists, going 9-for-16 from the field including 3/5 from 3-point range.

Lets Get it Ramo just missed a double-double, snagging eight rebounds to go with his 23 points and leading Pistons GT to yet another win. Those 23 points were matched by Magic Gaming’s King Cam Royalty, who in his first start of the season terrorized Knicks Gaming for 11 rebounds in addition to the 23 points to lead his team to their first victory of the season.

Raptors Uprising GC came in to play on Saturday as the league’s only 0-3 team and were huge underdogs against 76ers GC. Thanks largely to Kenny’s 24 points and a pair of blocks, Raptors Uprising overcame the odds. MrSlaughter01 of Jazz Gaming rounds out the top five performances of the week with his 22 points and 17 rebounds with two blocks.
