28. Boise State (Orange)

Other than the Oregon Ducks, Boise State may be the flashiest team in the country when it comes to the program’s accessories. Although the Broncos aren’t exactly known for their uniforms, they are pretty intricate and insanely bright. Much like the field they play on. Being in the Mountain West, it’s a bit difficult to be noticed all the time for quality football. Despite this, Boise State has always made sure it stands out through its uniforms. Oh, and the royal blue turf field.

All three of Boise State’s uniforms would’ve been solid picks for this list. The orange and blue color scheme the Broncos sport looks incredibly sharp. However, it’s the orange uniforms which stand out the most — especially with the alternate Florida-esque helmets. The Boise State uniform that makes this list has an orange base with the only other hint of the color present in the Mountain West logo. All lettering and numbering are done in a grey color, with the number being outlined in blue. In addition, the sleeve houses a grey stripe and the Nike logo is in grey.

Nike incorporates the Broncos’ other base color (blue) in this jersey in multiple ways. Much like the grey, the blue gets its own stripe on the shoulder. In addition, the most beautiful aspect of the jersey is the royal blue collar. The collar ties the uniform together and adds a unique aspect to the orange threads. It also boasts the Broncos’ logo on the collar. The attention to detail with Boise State’s uniforms largely go unseen, however. On the inside of each collar, the words “blue collar” are written, tying together all three uniforms which sport blue collars. Furthermore, the blue collar represents the working class of Idaho.
