Detroit Lions fan, 2015, 2016

On the 10-year anniversary of the first Lions fan on the list making the ultimate mistake, we have another clueless fan who has fallen into the trap. This poor fan also doubled down for 2016. Let’s not break it to him, but he’s going to have to cross a lot of these years out.

Chances are this guy is going to run out of room on his leg. His calf is going to look like the infamous Brown’s quarterback jersey.

If we had to give this fan advice, maybe start skipping by fives. Or, here’s a tip, wait until a year in which the Lions are actually good and then don’t get another tattoo. These are the Detroit Lions we’re talking about here. They will find a way to blow it.

This Lions fan, like his Bill fan compatriots across the great lakes, is delusional. The hype surrounding bad team after bad team has him forgetting who he actually cheers for. Don’t feel bad for these fans though. Instead of lessons learned, these tattoos become local legend. The ultimate conversation starter at tailgates.

A general public service announcement to anyone who isn’t a Green Bay Packers fan owner in the NFC North. As long as Aaron Rodgers is in the NFC North, do not get yourself a Super Bowl tattoo. Unlike you, his hail Marys actually work (usually against the Lions).
