Lucifer’s final two episodes (for now?) air on Monday. Get your first look at what could be your last chance to see Lucifer with this preview clip.
Remember that your last chance to watch Lucifer is tonight when FOX reveals two previously unseen episodes from Lucifer season 3.
As reported last week, the devilish drama is getting a second chance following the network’s surprising decision to cancel it. There were two installments filmed for this season that was meant to be held over for next season, but since right now there isn’t going to be a next season, FOX is airing them as a two-hour block on May 28.
The first episode “Boo Normal” details the murder of a child psychiatrist, which hits close to home for forensic whiz Ella Lopez (Aimee Garcia). Then in “Once Upon A Time,” fans will get a glimpse of an alternate reality where Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) never met Chloe Decker (Lauren German) and see how their lives changed as a result.
These are the last two chapters of Lucifer that TV fans will get for sure—as the series has yet to find another home. Though fans have made a lot of noise on social media asking other places to pick the show up, nothing concrete has emerged yet.
So the best way for fans to make noise is to turn up for these last scheduled TV broadcasts and post some big ratings to go along with all those tweets and Facebook comments. The ratings for this doubleheader will show other TV networks and streaming services that the show’s audience will turn up outside of the Internet, or perhaps even convince FOX that it made a big mistake.
Speaking of mistakes, Dan (Kevin Alejandro) thinks Lucifer has made a huge one in this Lucifer season 3 preview from tonight’s sampler. So at least that hasn’t changed!
Watch this preview of the Lucifer doubleheader below, and then definitely don’t forget to tune in for these two episodes tonight in the show’s regular time slot. Hopefully the extra helping will help change this excellent show’s fate—but only if you remember to watch.
