Is Walgreens open on Memorial Day?
If you need to head down to the local Walgreens on Memorial Day, you’re in luck because the store will be open during normal business hours.
If you are headed out to a Memorial Day cookout today and need to pick up some ice, beverages or some snacks to go with all the great grilled meat, you’re in luck because you can visit your local Walgreens for all those goods.
While many stores may be closed or have limited hours on this holiday, Walgreens will be open during normal business hours on Memorial Day. So whether you’re headed out for the last thing you forgot for your Memorial Day cookout or if you need some sunscreen to protect you from getting a wicked sunburn if you’re spending the afternoon at the pool or down by the beach, Walgreens has you covered.
The local Walgreens by my house is one of my favorite stops. It’s so much better than going to Walmart or Target or the grocery store when you just need to run in for one or a few things. It’s so easy to find a parking spot near the door and you can get the case of pop or the bags of chips or the bottle of sunscreen you need and the lines are always short and the people so friendly.
It sure does beat the alternative which is parking half a mile from the doors and walking another mile in the store to find what you’re looking for. And then when you find it, you have to wait in line for 20 minutes or tackle the self-service checkout and risk having the system backfire on you and then you need to get some help.
So rest easy, Walgreens is open on Memorial Day and will be able to take care of all your needs.
