Alphonse Areola (PSG)

Napoli need a starting goalkeeper. With PSG looking to replace Areola as their number 1, it could be a wonderful opportunity for Napoli to swoop in and purchase the 25-year-old goalkeeper from the Ligue 1 club.

A member of PSG since 2012, Areola was loaned out to several clubs, including Villarreal in Spain, during that time. Areola has height (he stands 6-foot-5) and a set of quick hands, especially on high balls played in the box and set pieces. His numbers also do a lot of talking: Areola conceded 35 goals in 43 matches for PSG this past season across all competitions.

Areola is a complete player with a promising future, but the Qatari-owned club has both a history of buying players but also selling them. Although Areola has drawn interest from Newcastle in recent weeks, Napoli could very well also want his signature and he would be a perfect fit in a league that values great goalkeeping and strong defenses.
