Mascots fuel franchises. Okay, maybe not exactly, but they provide a spark for fanbases and make everything fun. In the Vegas Golden Knights’ inaugural season, Chance strives to be no different.

Coming off a thrilling 6-4 victory at T-Mobile Arena last night, the Vegas Golden Knights are off to a great start in the Stanley Cup Final.

Their mascot, Chance, relishes in the moment and magnitude of the situation, and hasn’t forgotten to give back!

After last night’s victory, Chance spent the morning at Vegas’ Summerlin Hospital, handing out Vegas Born onesies for newborns:

I’m not crying, you’re crying. We see this a lot normally, but heartwarming campaigns like this are always fun. It’s amplified by being during the Stanley Cup Final and I’m sure these parents are happy to be a part of potential history.

Vegas born carries a lot of weight these days;  just ask Bryce Harper and Kris Bryant!

Chance obviously loves his job, and how could he not? Not only being a hockey mascot, which is vastly underrated, but a mascot for a franchise up 1-0 in their first Stanley Cup Final appearance in their first season?

Let’s not even forget the fact that he one-upped Jonathan Marchessault from last week by arriving in Kitt to yesterday’s game.

These are good times in Vegas. The Golden Knights, the Aces and Chance. These babies are ready for a Vegas party, especially after this morning. Can we reserve a parade spot for them if the Knights get the job done? I’d sign off on that. Chance, make it happen.
