6. The Boston Bruins bar tab

After winning the Stanley Cup in 2011, the Boston Bruins took their celebrations to the local night club, where they proceeded to spend an astonishing amount of money on booze (and Fiji waters).

Here’s a breakdown of the tab:

Surely, the team covered whatever the Cup drank that night. It would be rude to do otherwise. The receipt does raise a few questions, though.

Obviously they were a big enough group, but who drinks 67 Fiji waters at $4.00 per bottle? This is insane. It’s the same water that is coming from the tap. This is perhaps the most wasteful charge on here, and there is a $100,000 bottle of champagne right above it.

Then, 136 Bud Light beers but only two Coors Light. Who drank the two Coors Light? This is going to keep me up at night.

Regardless of how crazy this bill is, it is nothing for a team of hockey players celebrating a Stanley Cup victory. One would only hope that the $100,000 bottle of champagne graced Lord Stanley’s cup because, I can’t think of a better way to drink away that much money.
