This ranking is obviously a lot different from a list of the best head coaches in the nation at this moment. If you put something like that together, head coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes Urban Meyer is easily in the top three.

However, Meyer has his faults like leaving the Florida Gators because he had trouble dealing with the pressure of being an SEC coach, despite all the accolades he built up during his time in Gainesville. There are factors going on both sides for Meyer’s case since he’s done a great job at Ohio State.

Within his first few years in Columbus, OH, Meyer already won a National Championship. That title was largely thanks to how he handled such a difficult quarterback situation, and superstar running back Ezekiel Elliott having such a massive end to the season.

Meyer is by no means that coolest head coach overall, but his pedigree makes it just that much more awesome to have him at the helm of your fan base. Ohio State loves having him in Columbus, and that fact shouldn’t change anytime soon.
