30 college football head coaches cooler than your coolest uncle

The head coach for the Clemson Tigers is well-regarded beyond just this community of fans in South Carolina. Dabo Swinney could wind up following the career of Nick Saban in Tuscaloosa when it’s all said and done. He mixes well with that community of fans for the Crimson Tide too.

However, at this moment Swinney is still coaching Clemson and doing a great job in the process. Clemson made its third straight appearance in the College Football Playoff after winning its third straight ACC Championship Game.

This program and head coach have completely taken control of the ACC, beyond other competing programs like the Florida State Seminoles, Miami Hurricanes, and Virginia Tech Hokies. This level of success means that Swinney is one of the most valuable head coaches in the nation.

Clemson fans will continue to love having Swinney at the helm, and his presence on the sidelines makes Clemson Memorial Stadium one of the best places to witness a game each week during the fall. All these factors combine to make Swinney one of the absolute coolest head coaches around the country.
