Baltimore Ravens: Michael Crabtree vs. John Brown

During the 2017 NFL season, Michael Crabtree was one of the top options in the Oakland Raiders passing game. The problem is, the Raiders passing attack was terrible, and with a new coaching staff in place, Crabtree was not going to be a part of their plans moving forward.

John Brown was a member of the Arizona Cardinals last season, but his production has gone a lot in the past couple of seasons. He once eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark as a member of the Cardinals, but managed to muster only 21 catches in ten games last season.

In 2018, those two men will be fighting for supremacy atop the Baltimore Ravens depth chart, and it is a battle that is worth keeping an eye on this summer. Both Crabtree and Brown have the talent to be game-breaking players for Joe Flacco in this Ravens offense, as the team looks to overhaul the entire wide receiver group.

Flacco has to look over his shoulder for the first time in a long time in Baltimore, as the team drafted Lamar Jackson in the first round this past April. He will be looking to have a monster season, so it will be interesting to see which player he develops a rapport with early in their time together.

The Ravens barely missed out on the playoffs last season, and the addition of both Crabtree and Brown are solid ones heading into 2018. Willie Snead is also a player to keep an eye on in this battle, as he is young, but he has shown during his time in New Orleans that he can take the lid off a defense.
