Chicago Bears: Kevin White vs. Anthony Miller

The NFL career of Kevin White has been a disappointing one, as he has never been able to stay healthy enough to be a contributor for the Chicago Bears. Last season, White appeared to be in the best shape of his life, but he still suffered a season-ending injury before he could appear in a regular season game.

This offseason, the Bears have made a concerted effort to be better on offense, doing everything from bringing in an offensive-minded head coach, to adding a ton of weapons to the passing game. They signed Allen Robinson in free agency, and then went out and drafted Memphis’ Anthony Miller to compete for the No. 2 wideout position in the Windy City.

Miller was an explosive player during his time with  the Tigers, and has that game-breaking ability that the Bears really lacked last season. Quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is entering his second season as a starter, and it was obvious that the organization wanted to put him in position to succeed this Fall.

If White is healthy, he will challenge Miller for that No. 2 wide receiver slot, as Robinson should be the top option. White is an absolute freak of nature when it comes to his physical abilities, but can he really stay healthy enough to live up  to his potential.

Miller is going to be a fun player to watch this season, and Trubisky is going to absolutely love throwing him the deep ball. A healthy White would make this wide receiver group one to watch in the NFC North, where the Bears have an uphill climb if they want to unseat the likes of the Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers, and Detroit Lions.
